My first stint with writing came at the tender age of four. As is typical of a four-year old lifestyle, I had been put down to nap. As was typical of my childhood, I didn’t sleep. Instead, I clumsily held a pencil in my hand and set about rewriting the ending of The Three Little Pigs in my learning-to-write notebook. The ending had displeased me and I thought I could do better.
Over the years, I have transformed my love of writing into a monthly column in an industry publication dedicated to helping aspiring writers hone their craft.I have also sat on two literary boards and held a volunteer position for a third. My background is in psychology and I hold a B.A. in Journalism.
In my day job, I work as an events coordinator for the government managing events that range in scope from 20 people to 9000. I have also worked as a bartender, caterer, concert photographer, interior designer, journalist, executive assistant and even a brief stint as a model. In my almost non-existent spare time, I write fiction novels in both chick lit and paranormal fantasy, and publish non-fiction articles as well.
If there is any time left at all, I design jewelry and spend as much time as possible traveling and trying to discover the mystical secret to eating endless chocolate and scrumptious fatty foods without bloating to the size of a small country. Anyone who has any tips on how to do this please drop me an email.
